Up until the mid 90's I was a jobbing guitarist playing clubs and pubs for money, with very little time for recording and composing music. But, after a life changing visit to the Glastonbury Festival, decided I needed to do something different musically. In short, I fell in love with electronic music, or rather, the desire to create my own electronic music. I think it may have been artists like System 7, Eat Static, The Orb, Fluke and others that inspired my change of direction. Since then it's become more of an obsession than a hobby and I wouldn't want it any other way.
Of course, things have changed a lot since then. I remember paying a small fortune for my sampler, a Yamaha A 3000 with a wopping 32 megs of memory, LOL. Still got it. I occasionally play my old strat through it for it's on board FX which are still pretty cool for guitar. But most of my hardware has either been sold off or sits here in the studio looking pretty but getting little use these days, alas. That's progress I guess.
To be honest I think it's more the sound design, production and engineering side of music creation I love the most now, The "art of noise" as it were.
So there you have it....... feel free to hang around, have a listen and don't be shy.... tell me what you think.

Hi again Phil...:-)
I`m very happy you decided to post up some of your music here...Believe it or not I never made it to any of the Glastonbury festivals...I did get to Knebworth a few times though and that for me was life changing too...It`s amazing what a festival can do...ehheeee At Knebworth I saw a couple of the greats, including Pink Floyd who really made a lasting impression on me, not only with their music which of course I knew beforehand, but with the fantastic show they put on...Can you imagine 2 RAF Harrier Jump Jets suddenly rising up from the back of the stage, hovering for a few seconds before blasting off over the audience? Only Floyd could`ve arranged something like that...it was mind blowing for all of us there..:-)heheeee...it was a great time being a hippy...:-)
Keep the music coming Phil..:-)
peace n love Mags :-)
